AFP Series Panel Style Air Intake Filters

The AFP SERIES panel type housings are designed for removal of airborne particulate for centrifugal compressors, blowers, turbines and other smooth flow machines.

These one, two and three stage filter series' incorporate a panel style element with efficiencies up to 99.98% of 0.3 microns. Standard air intake filters have capacities up to 40,000 CFM with outlet sizes up to 42" diameter. Higher capacities and large inlet connections are available. AFPC models provide the same protection as standard AFP models with the added benefit of adsorbing up to 500 pounds of corrosive, irritating, and odorous gas vapors.

All models are furnished with rugged weather hoods. Standard housings are carbon steel and are furnished with rust preventative primer coating beneath all weather paint.

AFS Series Air Intake Filters & Silencers

Engineered and designed to effectively reduce objectionable air intake noise on compressors, blowers and engines.

All AFS filter/silencers incorporate an efficient dry type intake filter with a series of tubes to help meet acceptable industrial standards.

All weather housing of heavy gauge carbon steel is furnished with a rust preventative primer coating beneath an all-weather paint. The rugged weather hood shields against entrance of rain or snow in outdoor service. The AFS filter is designed to mount directly on the compressor, blower, and engine or on a remote air inlet pipe.

Radial Fin filter element standard construction includes a durable felted polyester medium rated at 98% efficiency on 10 microns and larger. When conditions demand, alternate media of synthetic fibers or glasses can be supplied from 0.3 to 100 microns nominal retention.

A cleanable molded-end element is standard in models AFS444-08 and smaller. Larger models are furnished with a cleanable, sewn-end element. Following several field cleanings, elements can be returned to the factory for rebuilding and reconditioning.

Industrial Filter Manufacturers will also custom design to meet special application needs.
